Philanthropy

Our community is our family. We devote a portion of our resources to non-profit projects. We work to inspire those around us to contribute to the greater good.

Some of the area non-profits we love contributing meals to include Haven For Hope, SAMMinistries, Guardian House, Rebecca's Wish and Gotcha Covered.

SAMMinistries

SAMMinistries is an interfaith ministry whose mission is to help the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless attain self-sufficiency by offering, with dignity and compassion, shelter, housing, and services.

Battered Women & Children's Shelter

A program of Family Violence Prevention Services, the Battered Women & Children's Shelter mission is to provide the tools to mend their bodies and restore their dignity, their hope, and possibilities to attain self-sufficiency without abuse. That mission includes reaching out to all sectors in our community, to share our knowledge and experience, so we may enlist them in doing their share to address the intolerable increasing incidence of domestic violence. Some of our most important work has been done with children. It is with children that we have the best chance to address the generational nature of domestic violence. At the same time, we remain sharply focused in the provision of services that challenge the abusive attitudes of perpetrators, in cooperation with the justice system.

Haven for Hope

Haven for Hope is a private non-profit aimed at transforming the lives of men, women and children faced with homelessness in the San Antonio/Bexar County area. Partnering with 78 governmental, non-profit and faith-based agencies, Haven for Hope seeks to transform the lives of the homeless by addressing the root causes of homelessness through education, job training and behavioral health services. Haven for Hope and its Partners provide critical social services to help the people become self-sufficient individuals on a long-term basis.

Guardian House

Guardian House transforms the community by empowering everyone to nurture happy, healthy and secure children. Their mission is to embrace the best interest of every child by teaching families how to build strong, positive relationships.

Gotcha Covered

Gotcha Covered collects new and used clothing, blankets, canned foods, sugar, coffee, baby formula, diapers, personal hygiene products, towels, sheets, paper goods, and car seats for babies. 100% OF DONATIONS go directly to those San Antonians who need your help most.

Rebecca's Wish
